Authentication Conversations
R0.50 (Per Conversation)
Facilitate a specific, agreed-upon request or transaction or update to a customer about an ongoing transaction, including post-purchase notifications and recurring billing statements.
Marketing Conversations
R0.90 (Per Conversation)
Include promotions or offers, informational updates, or invitations for customers to respond/take action. Any conversation that does not qualify as utility or authentication is a marketing conversation.
User Initiated Conversations
Service Conversations
Service conversations are conversations initiated by the customer and is a great way to generate organic traffic to your number. Service Conversations can be started from entry points like Website Widgets, QR codes, Keywords and so much more. As of 1 November 2024, service conversations are free and unlimited.
Facebook Free Entry Point
Conversations are not charged when users message businesses using call-to-actions buttons on Ads that Click to WhatsApp or Facebook Page call-to-action buttons. These entry points window has now been extended from a 24h window to 72h window.
A Chatbot session is defined as a conversation in which a chatbot is invoked. The chatbot can be invoked at the start, middle, or end of a conversation. If two different chatbots are invoked in the same conversation, it is considered as an additional conversation.
